Coastal Craftsman Cottage

Custom

  • This custom built, creamy white, galley kitchen was pulled from a home on Coronado island. The cabinet boxes are constructed from ¾” plywood. The recessed panel doors and slab front drawers are inset.

Notice the coastal beadboard detail behind the glass doors and integrated into the exposed finished sides of the cabinets. Latch hinges and cup pulls complete the design style. The cabinet interiors and drawer boxes are maple. Drawers have dovetail joinery and undermount Blum glides. Glides are standard capture but can easily be converted to soft close.

The painted shelves show minor wear from dishes sliding along the surface and there is some interior cabinet wear on the frames and doors (as pictured). The original satin finish on some of the cup pulls has worn to reveal the brass below. If you love a beautiful patina, let us install this kitchen for you without changing a thing. Or have our designer help you reimage the look of this kitchen custom for you...

WWJD (What Would Juliann Do): Perhaps its time to change out the creamy white for crisp white upper cupboards and the base cabinets become a beautiful deep blue. Let’s use a marble-look engineered stone surface for the countertops and add concrete style tile to the backsplash.
